Education and Training Committee
FLEET is building future Australian science leaders among the Centre’s early career researchers (ECRs) and higher degree research students (HDRs). The Centre’s Education and Training Committee sets the Centre’s strategies and sponsorship priorities, checking progress and development requirements. The Committee’s functions are to:
- Determine appropriate training opportunities for ECRs and HDRs
- Facilitate mentoring programs for FLEET members
- Organise internships for FLEET HDR students with partner organisations and gather data on these experiences
- Facilitating FLEET mentoring programs.
