The objectives of the Swinburne node of FLEET are to realise and explore non-equilibrium topological phenomena in atomic and condensed matter systems. The fellow will design and conduct experiments to control the band structure of 2D semiconductors with femtosecond laser pulses, and subsequently probe the non-equilibrium system and its dynamics.
