FLEET workshop code of conduct

Whether the FLEET event is in-person or online, it is always important that we conduct ourselves professionally, with due respect to our colleagues.

All attendees and speakers at our conference are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

We will provide a respectful and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender-identity, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, marital status, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or politics.

We encourage diversity in our attendees and encourage discussion of ideas and opinions in a forum that is free from aggressive or belittling behaviour.

We will not tolerate behaviour that is harassing, intimidating, overbearing, bullying or physically or emotionally threatening of conference participants in any form.

Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference platform, including iSee, Slack, email, talks, workshops, social events, social media and other online media.

We expect participants to follow these rules on conference and workshop platforms during both formal talks and informal conference-related social events. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference at the discretion of the conference organisers.

If you are being harassed, or if you notice that someone else is being harassed, or if you have any other concerns, please contact a member of conference staff (FLEET Operations Team) immediately. Alternatively, you can also use this form to report unacceptable behaviours.
