An opportunity exists for a Senior Education and Training Coordinator to join the FLEET business team in carrying out the education and training missions of FLEET. As the successful candidate, you will recruit high-quality higher degree by research (HDR) students and be responsible for FLEET-specific training and mentorship programs for HDR students and early-career researchers.
You will also play a key role in developing and implementing an outreach program to connect FLEET researchers with primary and secondary students, their teachers, parents and the public at large.
We’re looking for someone:
- who is passionate about science outreach
- with a degree in a Science/Engineering discipline, teaching or vocational training and development, with extensive relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training
- with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
