Congratulations to FLEET Research Fellow Bao Yue Zhang, who received the prestigious 2021 RMIT Vice-Chancellor’s Prize for Research Excellence-HDR, recognised for outstanding research and contributions to novel sensing materials and applications in early cancer diagnosis.

Dr Bao Yue Zhang’s research focuses on the novel metal oxide nanomaterials and the development of electronic devices, this fits in with FLEET Enabling technology A theme, atomically-thin materials. She has made important progress on exploring the next frontier for technological innovation and deliver next-generation, atom-thin electronics.
